At a morning start exploring Addis Ababa, we begin with Mount Entoto for panoramic views of the city with fresh air from the eucalyptus forests and visit the Entoto Maryam church and museum. On the way down to Addis Ababa via Shiro Meda, we visit the city’s largest market for traditional clothes.
Proceed to the campus of Addis Ababa University to the Ethnological Museum, know for anthropological artifacts’, housed in the former palace of Haile Selassie.

Afternoon visit the National Museum that exhibits numerous antiquates, historical relics, archaeological and paleontological objects including the 3.2 million year old skeleton of Lucy;

And one of the fine Ethiopian Orthodox church Selassie (Trinity) church, that contain several interesting modern paintings and mosaics, and the final resting place of Haile Selassie, to whom there is a dedicated museum on site.

End our visit at Mercato, the local marketplace which is said to be Africa’s largest open-air market.

Optional tour to Fistula Hospital is a remarkable place to visit, and is considered the best-run charity in the country.
