ETHIOPIA-HISTORICAL TOUR ITINERARY : ON FLIGHTS 5 NIGHTS/ 6 DAYS
Day 1: Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, You will be greeted with the company representative at the airport and transferred to the hotel.
(Depending on your arrival time we can arrange afternoon or after hour city tour)
Day 2: ADDIS ABABA - BAHIR DAR: Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Bahir Dar (50 min). After check in, drive some 35 km south of Bahirdar to see the Blue Nile falls. After noon boat trip over Lake Tana to see the medieval monasteries over the islands such as kibran Gebriel and Ura Kidanemeheret. Overnight hotel.
Day 3: BAHIR DAR – GONDAR: Be transferred to the airport for the flight to Gondar (20 min). Sightseeing in Gonder. We will see the royal enclosure-the palace that was built by emperor Fasilades in 1636 that is similar with that of European castles, bath of Fasiledes, the quesquam enclosure, and the decorated church of Trinity. Day 4: GONDAR – LALIBELA: Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lalibela (35min).
Visit the remarkable rock-hewn churches of Lalibela and the old village with traditional Tikul House. Hotel
Day 5: LALIBELA–AXUM: be transferred to the airport for your flight to Axum (40 min).
Visit the Stele, carved out of single granite stone of the pre Christian era, the palace and tombs of Kings, the old and new St, Mary Churches, the remnant palace of the legendary Queen Sheba, and inscriptions.
Day 6: AXUM- ADDIS Ababa : Morning transfer to the airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa.
Sightseeing in Addis Ababa and shopping, early evening, we will have a coffee ceremony to our appreciation for touring with us, Foot prints and we dine a fair well dinner at one of the traditional restaurant with folklore music and dances then depart to home.
