ETHIOPIA CULTURAL TOUR PACKAGES:-OMO VALLEY TRIBAL TOUR ITINERARY-On Surface 9 days & 8 nights
Day 1: Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, You will be greeted with the company representative at the airport and transferred to the hotel. (Depending on your arrival time we can arrange afternoon or after hour city tour)
Day 2: Drive to Arba Minch: Early morning start drive to Arba Minch through the rift valley lakes of Ziway, Langano, Abjata and Shalla. Lunch at Shahemene Hotel. Continued driving and arrive Arba Minch for overnight (510 Kms from Addis Ababa ).
Day 3: Nech Sar National Park And Boat trip on Lake Chamo.
Morning drive to Nech Sar Park for game viewing and birding, After noon boat trip on lake Chamo, where one can find Hippos, Crocodile and variety of birds. overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: Ariba Minch- Jinka
Drive to Jinka, en route visit the Konso people with colorfully costumed dress, impressive terracing farming Land and unusually engraved wooden totem used as grave markers can be seen. Further along the route crossing the Woito River, visit Tsemay village. Continue driving to Jinka for overnight in Jinka Resort Hotel.
Day 5: Jinka- Mursi- Jinka
Drive to Mursi village to visit and appreciate culture of Mursi tribe they are renowned for the strange custom followed by their women who, on reaching maturity, have their lower lips slit and circular clay discs inserted. Proceed to Mago National Park. After a picnic lunch, you will have game drive to see big mammals and different species of birds and in the late afternoon drive back to Jinka. Overnight Hotel
Day 6: Jinka –Demeka- Turmi
Drive to Turmi through Dimeka to visit the Hamer people and their village. Overnight Lodge
Day 7: Drive Yabello
Drive to Yabello, en route visit the Erbore tribe, and Borena people. The Borena People is, well known for cattle rearing and their 'singing well' when they cater water to their own thousands of cattle by singing. Overnight Yabello Motel
Day 8: Drive to Awassa
Drive from Yabello to Yergalem over a beautiful Sidamo mountain through coffee plantation. Overnight Hotel
Day 9: Drive to Addis Ababa: fare well dinner and evening Departure
At a morning visit the fish market then drive to Addis Ababa through the Great Rift Valley lakes. In the Evening a fare well diner party in one of the Traditional Ethiopian restaurant with dances from the different ethnic Groups. Then after transfer out to the airport for departure back to home.
