Images of Ethiopia Tour, November 2008
We have recently returned from your Images of Ethiopia tour and felt we must let you know how much we enjoyed the visit and especially to bring to your notice the truly excellent services provided by the Ethiopian guide.
The tour was the most wonderful experience, and we have lasting memories of following Christianity and the bible from its earliest beginnings. The tour certainly lived up to your claim "it's our experience that makes yours".
The guide, Ermias Tadesse (Jeremiah to us) was the most courteous, kind, generous and more importantly, superbly knowledgeable guide we have experienced over a lifetime of traveling. He has a passion for his country, its history, culture and natural beauty and was eager to share this with us at all times. We also found the whole tour ran so smoothly in what we would regard as a newly developing country and we are sure this was due not only to the organizational skills of Jeremiah but also to the fact that he was always prepared to accept responsibility and exercise the appropriate authority to ensure we did not experience any inconvenience. Jeremiah was clearly well known and respected wherever we went and this meant that we were able to visit places and meet people that we might not normally have been able to do. We would be grateful if you would pass our comments on to Footprints Ethiopia Tour and Travel.
Thank you for arranging this wonderful tour.

In January of 2008
In January of 2008 I made my first trip to Ethiopia with my daughter. Our guide for our 18 day tour of the south just happened to be Ermias, now the director of Footprints. We both had an amazing fun, simply incredible time so much so in fact that I have been back twice since. Ermias was and is with out doubt the best guide I have ever met in Ethiopia. He has a brilliant command of English and massive knowledge of his country and people and we learnt so much. I met many other people taking exactly the same tour with other guides, and found that many of them were dissatisfied with the level of service their guides provided...the country of course remains brilliant. Thanks to Ermias"s expertise and intuition on what us people from the West consider important ,(punctuality being one simple example ) we simple could not find one fault with our adventure. I returned in January 2009, this time with my son. We of course requested the services of Footprints and took another tour of the South, this time asking for something a little more off any tourist track. Once again Ermias arranged a brilliant tour, which changed from day to day as we moved on,and we even drove in to Kenya and Lake Turkhana for a day. My son and I yet again had a brilliant , memorable time. I could say many more positive things about both Footprints Ethiopia and Ermias, so if any one wishes to contact me please feel free to use my email address below. I have to add that I am really impressed with the sustainable tourism philosophy that Footprints Ethiopia is taking which is so important for its land and people . And I love the new Care Programme which shows you such an important aspect of how poor the country and how hard people strive to become educated or simply to stay alive. it gives you an opportunity to give back to a country which will give you so much.Have fun!

Life Time Experience
I had the experience of a lifetime that I will never EVER forget. I was so sad to leave all of my new friends behind but I am also so grateful to have shared these experiences with so many new people. I will never forget how amazing this trip was and Footprint Ethiopia deserves all the credit in the world. My advice to anyone considering booking your Holiday is - DO IT TODAY. You will NOT regret it for one second!!" Laura & Shane Australia
The trek was fab!
“…Footprint is doing a great job! I will highly recommend you to everyone I know traveling to Ethiopia An incredible way to truly experience the local culture and villages that have not been spoilt by tourism. And, to do it with a tour company that respects the local people, their culture and environment…”
I would like to thank you for a wonderful trip. You did a great job with organizing everything, the hotels were fantastic and our transfers went smoothly. We would also like to thank our guide: Ermias, and Ayalew who did a great job with showing us around and who were also very knowledgeable in their area. We will defiantly recommend to friends and family and we look forward to contacting you in the future for our next trip to Ethiopia.

So, we have arrived home tired and thankful to have had such a wonderful time, mainly thanks to your superb skills as a leader. I can see why John is so passionate about your incredible country. It struck me that it must be one of the most beautiful countries in the world and the people are amazing so ready to smile and so ready to open their hearts. It was a great privilege to tour your land with your knowledge and see and sense what a marvelous country Ethiopia is. I can only say that if the gods are willing we shall return and until then we shall keep Ethiopia close in our hearts. Coming home is painful when such wonderful things are far away, but we were very fortunate to on many levels to have chosen this holiday and with all its blessings, it will remain in our hearts as indeed will you. You work hard at what you do and remain professional always. I am sure in years to come that you will build up a very successful company, as you deserve so to do. Thank you again for all you did for us whilst we were with you, and all that you showed us, the riches of a magnificent land and the openness of your heart and generosity of your spirit.May you and your family know the best of life's blessings; you will be missed but often mentioned and thought of so as to keep the special memories close.Meantime we send Selams and Love.

Jules Verne holiday
Hello Ermias,
Thank you so much for being such a good guide to our Jules Verne group a few weeks ago (we arrived on 8 March) and making sure we had such a wonderful trip. I would have said thank you sooner but I was waiting for my photographs (I like this one of you). I have so many good memories of your country, the people, and everything we saw and have been telling everyone to visit. As well as the pre-arranged places, I especially enjoyed all the little extra stops you arranged for us – like the little walk to the farm and the tea stop at Woreta.
I hope this email reaches you – I have also sent one to Birara Akane with some photos so I hope he gets his too.
Best wishes,

The trip to Omo valley is went very well
Oumer was very pleasant and his English is excellent, the trip to Ethiopia went very well; only one thing that you need to improve is the jeep condition for a rough road. God bless Footprints.Doria, United States of America

Everything is excellent. Footprint Ethiopia Tours has made our trip smooth and memorable Thank you.JINNY POON FROM France
It More interesting to stay longer in Omorate. It would be more interesting to stay longer in Omorate tribal village and at Turkana Lake, which is less touristy. Guide: very positive, attentive, considerate and helpful Very efficient, dependable. Good attention to detail. We were well taken care. We would highly recommend Footprint Ethiopia.
